Customize Personal Ringtone for iPhone

After, much request i finally decided to do research on customize ringtones for Windows User.

My Product Specification:
1.1.3 jailbroken + unlock iPhone
iTunes 7.6.0.29
mp3 song

Tutorial:
1. Open iTunes make sure ringtone folder is there.
(if it is not, might need to consider re-inst itunes with latest version)


2. Making sure Import Using 'AAC Encoder'
- from itunes go to Edit>Preference or Press Ctrl and ,


-Go to Advanced>Importing>Import Using 'AAC Encoder'>OK


3. Convert Mp3 to M4A file
-Go to Music Library
-Right Click at the song that you like
-Left Click on Get Info


- After that Go To > Options
Key-in Start Time & Stop Time (TESTED: max. 40secs, 42 secs fail, 60 secs fail)


- Now, Go back to Music Library, Right Click on that song again
you should see "Convert Selection to AAC" just click it.
- In split second, you should see a duplication of the same song title.
- I need you to drag out that song to Desktop computer and
change file extension(by renaming) to M4r instead of M4a

- Once extension changed, can just delete the song from playlist(Music Library)
***need to go back to original song and remove start time and end time for normall playing.
- Double click on M4R file from Desktop, immediately you'll see the file is under ringtone folder
of iTunes.
- Then, Just need to plug-in iPhone.
- Go To Ringtones, Tick on selected tone and Hit Apply.

-Enjoy your new ringtone :)
